Go-Getting Stylists Open Blended Edge Salon

Monica Racine and Teresa Racine both graduated from the Montana Academy of Salons in March of 2023. “We went to school together, we graduated together, and we started the business together,” explained Monica. “All of our kids are together. We've lived in the same house for the past four years.” In December of 2023, they opened Blended Edge Salon. “I'm just one of those people that is just a go-getter,” explained Monica. “I've always wanted to own my own business. Growing up, I watched my grandpa own a barber shop. I think that's really what made me want to pursue owning my own business.” Monica and Teresa do a variety of services at the salon. “We specialize in everything,” explained Monica. “People come in, they want bright colors, they want highlights. We just like to have a good time and have fun with it.” These ladies offer a range of beauty services including hair styling, makeup, waxing, lash extensions, lash perms, and facials. Blended Edge Salon is located at 805 3rd St NW. The front of the building is still being renovated as they started in the back and took over the front of the building as well when it became available. They are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and Saturdays from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. These amazing ladies even take after-hour calls as well.
