Todd Feist Named as City’s Information Technology Director

Great Falls, Mont. – City Manager Greg Doyon announced the appointment of Todd Feist as the City’s Information Technology (IT) Director on December 20th. The IT Director is a senior executive who provides leadership, direction, and oversight of the City’s vast network system and technology services. Feist started his role on December 18, 2023. Todd Feist brings years of IT experience in both the public and private sectors. In the private sector, he most recently served as the Technical Operations Manager of SCC Inspection Services in Great Falls, MT. In the public sector, he was the Data and System Manager for the City of Indio’s Water Authority in Indio, CA, before returning to Great Falls in 2020. In February 2024, Feist will complete his Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Western Governors University. He also holds ten high-level, IT-specific professional certifications in hardware and software troubleshooting, web development, cloud computing concepts and services, and network management. “I am excited to join the City and have the opportunity to serve the citizens of Great Falls,” Feist said in a press release. “Drawing on my extensive IT experience, I am committed to leading the City’s technological growth, creating efficiencies, and providing seamless services for our community. I look forward to working alongside a dedicated and talented team to provide the best possible experience for the people of Great Falls.” “The City of Great Falls relies heavily on technology to ensure the best quality of service for residents,” explained City Manager Doyon in the press release. “Mr. Feist has a proven track record of overseeing IT operations, creating IT infrastructure and endpoints, and aligning IT strategies with organizational goals. His talents will serve as a great asset to the City.”
