Cascade County Public Works has contracted with United Materials of Great Falls, to modify a section of Lower River Road, near the marina. Approximately a 1000’ section of gravel will be compacted, graded, and topped with 4” of new asphalt. This section of new asphalt will tie into the existing asphalt on Lower River Road. Work is expected to begin Monday, September 16th, and run through Wednesday, September 18th, pending weather conditions. During this time, this section of Lower River Road will be closed to through traffic, and both ends of Lower River Road will have detours set up. Please beware of work signs, workers, detours, road closures, and posted speed limits. Thank you.
