
William “Bill” Wallace, 83, passed away unexpectedly November 8th, 2025, in Seattle, WA.
Bill was born November 5th, 1942, to Frank and Ruby Wallace, in Seattle, WA. Though he began and ended his life in Seattle, he created many fond memories and spent a significant portion of his life in Montana.
Bill was the oldest of five brothers who were all raised in Montana. He attended West Junior High School and graduated from Great Falls High School. Bill later married and had two children.
He served in the MT Air National Guard and was honorably discharged in 1962. Bill worked for many years and later retired from The Great Falls Gas Company.
Bill loved the outdoors and especially the mountains. He enjoyed camping and was a boy scout when he was young. Many summers were spent camping and fishing at Seeley and Holter Lake. Glacier Park was one of his favorite places to travel and explore on foot, in a car, and on his motorcycle. Bill also enjoyed bowling. He participated in bowling leagues and collected many trophies over the years.
He was a gentle soul with an easy-going personality. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Ruby Wallace; and two brothers, Jerry Wallace and Dave Wallace.
Bill is survived by his daughter Lisa (Kevin) Scheibelhut, son Brian (Amanda) Wallace; granddaughter Aria Wallace; brothers Dick Wallace and Bob (Lori) Wallace; and several nieces and nephews.
No funeral service will be held by his request. He will be laid to rest at Evergreen Washelli cemetery in Seattle, WA.
