Great Falls Fire Rescue responded to a room and content fire at 800 4th Ave SW at approximately 6:30 pm, November 12th. Upon arrival, Truck-2 observed smoke coming from the front window and quickly entered the home, locating the fire in a bedroom. They swiftly extinguished the flames, preventing further damage beyond the room of origin. Fortunately, the two elderly occupants, along with their dog and cat, were able to escape safely. The fire resulted in minimal damage, and the American Red Cross has been contacted to provide assistance. The cause of the fire has been identified as electrical in nature.
