Family Promise of Great Falls Announces Third Annual Soc Hop

Photo courtesy of Family Promise of Great Falls Family Promise of Great Falls is pleased to announce its Third Annual Sock Hop fundraiser, which will be held on May 3rd at 5:00 PM at the Elks Lodge in Great Falls. Tickets are available for $50 each or $80 for a pair. Sponsorship opportunities exist for tables, priced at $500, accommodating eight individuals. All proceeds benefit homeless children and their families in our community. This year’s theme is "Dancing Through the Decades," featuring DJ Caleb Ford, who will provide a musical selection from the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s. The event will include a roast beef dinner with a baked potato bar catered by Good Eats. There will also be activities such as a costume contest with prizes for the best decade-themed attire, dancing, and a range of auction items and raffles. In the first two years, the Sock Hop exclusively featured 1950s music; however, in response to attendee feedback, the event has been expanded to incorporate more diverse music and dancing opportunities. This year will also offer an increased number of silent auction items, including several notable prizes. Among the highlighted auction items will be a whole pig, which will be auctioned in halves, a $500 gift card to Scheels, and jewelry donated by Riddle's.
