Meet Web: The Bob-Tailed Tuxedo with a Big Heart!
Web is a handsome tuxedo boy with a cute little bob tail and an even cuter personality! His journey to us began when he wandered into someone’s home through a dog door, looking for safety and comfort. Sadly, his previous owners were unwilling to take him back. When he arrived, he had multiple wounds from fighting, and through those injuries, he contracted Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV).
What You Should Know About FIV:
• FIV Positive: Web’s immune system is weaker than other cats, so he’s more prone to infections. With regular vet care, a healthy diet, and an indoor-only home, he can live a long and happy life.
• Not Easily Spread: FIV is mainly transmitted through deep bite wounds, not casual contact. Web can safely live with other friendly cats!
• A Normal Life: Many FIV-positive cats live just as long as non-FIV cats, especially in a loving, low-stress home.
Web’s Personality:
Web is a calm and laid-back guy most of the time—he loves lounging around and will often just plop down wherever he pleases. But don’t let his relaxed demeanor fool you! He gets the occasional case of the kitty zoomies, proving he still has some playful energy in him.
Right now, Web is a little overweight, but with more space to roam and a home that encourages playtime, he could slim down in no time. He adores other cats, especially those with a mellow personality like his, and would make a wonderful companion for another laid-back feline friend.
One of Web’s most charming traits? Instead of meowing, he has the cutest little trill when he talks to you!
