Family Promise Great Falls is the recipient of an extremely generous donation from City Motor Company. City Motors held their THANKSgiving sale event from November 18th through the 30th, during which time they donated $250 per vehicle sold. During the sale, they sold a total of 53 units for a donation of $13,250. Due to the generous nature of the company, they’ve decided to round up the donation to an even $15,000! This is a huge blessing for Family Promise Great Falls and will go towards the many families we serve.
Family Promise Great Falls serves homeless or nearly homeless families with children under the age of 18 in their care. This year has been especially difficult for families in our community, with a drastic increase in rental prices and limited availability of affordable housing units. As a result, Family Promise Great Falls has helped more families with services such as case management, eviction prevention, shower facilities, laundry facilities, and a limited food pantry which also stocks diapers and wipes for infants. Family Promise Great Falls receives no federal funding, all funds are received through generous donations and grants.
