Over the past five years, Alliance for Youth has accomplished numerous significant achievements since moving into their forever home. The following are some of the amazing things they have done for the community of Great Falls.
They have provided services to 829 homeless and disadvantaged youth since the Youth Resource Center commenced operations in May 2020.
Throughout this period, they have delivered a total of 16,857 meals to homeless and disadvantaged youth. They have provided 12,500 transportation rides to and from the Youth Resource Center, as well as to various supportive services, including medical care, behavioral health appointments, housing assistance, employment training, and educational support.
Alliance for Youth has conducted vaping prevention presentations for 4,666 students in Cascade County and has engaged with community groups, such as the Rotary Club of Great Falls, and participants at the 2024 Montana PTA State Convention.
More than 800 parents have participated in one or more of Alliance for Youth’s evidence-based parenting classes and support groups. Alliance for Youth provided free childcare during these activities and offered complimentary meals at many events.
The Sober Life membership has expanded from 223 individuals in November 2019 to over 1,300 members. Alliance for Youth has hosted more than 16,100 participants at fitness activities and over 13,850 individuals at free family-friendly events. Furthermore, more than 400 members have contributed over 11,000 volunteer hours, supporting various community causes through 67 volunteer events, which include providing meals to the homeless, park clean-up initiatives, and painting crosswalks.
Sober Life has offered one-on-one peer support to 225 individuals facing challenges related to addiction and alcoholism. Six months following the initiation of peer support, 82% of participants maintained their sobriety, the number of individuals in stable housing increased by 26%, and the percentage of individuals who were either employed or enrolled in educational programs rose by 22%.
This amazing group of people has provided all of these services to the community free of charge through the generosity of donors, the dedicated support of volunteers and community members, and the commitment of their staff.
