The City of Great Falls Public Works Utilities Division closed 2nd Avenue North at 46th Street North to Westbound traffic on Monday, September 2nd until Tuesday, September 3rd, 2024.  Due to circumstances beyond their control, 2nd Avenue North will continue to be closed.  Repair parts have been ordered to be expedited, and will be installed as soon as they arrive.  Once the repair is completed, the maintenance crew will restore the asphalt and reopen the road.  Customers near the area will experience water outages during the repairs.
