City of Great Falls Utility Billing Updates

The City of Great Falls Utilities Department underwent a software conversion at the end of May.  Due to the software conversion, some of the utility bills in June were delayed and mailed out late.  In some cases, the monthly billing statements may have been received after the due date. The City is not charging late fees or penalties and we apologize for any inconvenience the delayed bills may be causing.

Return envelopes were missing from the monthly billing statements in June and July. This is a temporary issue while the utility bills are being configured with the print vendor. We hope to have the updated utility bills with return envelopes enabled by the end of August.

We are working on enabling a new online portal for Utilities.  Customers can register, log in, and create a profile by adding in their new utility account number and the name exactly how it appears on the bill. The link to the website is https://www.municipalonlinepayments.com/greatfallsmt. Right now, customers can only view and print bills.  Online payments and payments made over the phone remain disabled. We hope to have online payment access reinstated in the next few weeks. Once enabled, we will put a message on the bills and on the City’s website.

Until online payments are active, bills can be paid by mailing a check, placing payments in the drop box located on the south side of the Civic Center or in the drop box beside the payment window, pay in person at the Civic Center Room 104, or  submit a payment using bill-pay through your financial institution.

The public’s patience during this transition is appreciated.  The Utilities Department is working diligently to fix the utility billing issues and enable online payment access.
