Foxy’s Market, Classified Advertising Gets Makeover

Some changes have arrived for Foxy’s Market, our classifieds section. The entire classified system is receiving a full revamp to improve advertising and make it easier for people to submit ads. While appearances aren’t changing much, the behind-the-scenes system for managing them is making huge technological leaps. One of these is allowing multiple pictures for ads.

In addition, a fee change will allow us to place EVERY ad in both editions of the Great Falls Gazette. Starting June 10, Foxy’s Market will replace the “Neighborhood papers” as the only free / handout paper. This means that for a $5 base ad, you get all three papers each week.

Another offering will be garage sale kits, which contain all kinds of neat stuff to help promote your garage/yard sale. These kits include signs (including a reusable large custom sign) and a base garage sale ad in one easy-to-purchase package.

Finally, we’re excited to add that all subscribers will get a free base ad for every six months of print edition they buy. If you buy both editions for six months, you’ll get two free ads, and one-year combo ads mean you get four base ads or equivalent credits towards advertising!

It’s been several years since Great Falls had an excellent Shopper paper, and we’re happy to start working on bringing the free shopper format back to the area! Remember to get your ads in by Friday at 5 p.m. to get into next week’s papers!
