The Junior League of Great Falls held the 3rd annual Touch a Truck event on August 26th. This turned out to be a spectacular event with many people showing up and contributing.

“We saw hundreds of families in Downtown Great Falls on Saturday for TOUCH-A-TRUCK, where they enjoyed vehicles and machinery, food trucks, and kids’ activities from 40 local businesses, child-focused nonprofits, and individuals. We’re grateful for everyone who spent their Saturday with us, including the vendors, kids, and their parents,” explained Kacey Ribnik, the Fund Development Council Director.

“We’ll net over $6,000 from TOUCH-A-TRUCK to support the Junior League of Great Falls’ mission; we are a volunteer-led nonprofit that focuses on women’s leadership and improving our community through volunteerism and financial support to local nonprofits. We’re thrilled to announce a new 2-year partnership with the YWCA, during which we’ll provide financial and volunteer support to their Y’s Buys thrift store program, which serves members of the Mercy Home and the community.”

Junior League welcomes new members throughout the year. If women in the area are interested, they may join us at any General Membership Meeting to learn more every second Tuesday of the month at 6pm at the Tres65 Celebration Studio’s meeting space.
